Blueprint was engaged to market a 68-unit assisted living community located in Birmingham, Alabama. Built in 1999, the community faced significant physical plant needs and operational challenges that rendered it unviable, without substantial capital investment, for prior ownership and their operator. As a result, the community was vacated in December 2024.
To maximize exposure and capture the broadest pool of buyers, Blueprint implemented a dual-marketing strategy utilizing both its proprietary platform and the Ten-X online auction platform. The process generated significant investor interest and multiple competitive bids from qualified regional and national operators.
The successful bidder, Pines Senior Living, plans to reopen and reposition the community, investing in the physical plant and restoring it as a vital housing option for Birmingham-area seniors.
This transaction underscores Blueprint’s ability to execute creative marketing strategies across multiple platforms, leverage a competitive bidding environment, and connect underutilized assets with operators uniquely positioned to unlock value and deliver high-quality care.
