Blueprint was engaged by a publicly traded REIT for the marketing and sale of a 65,000 square foot former Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) located in the medical district of Amarillo, Texas. Partially occupied by a national behavioral health operator, the facility was well positioned for a variety of inpatient and outpatient healthcare uses.
Leveraging a vast network of buyers across the Medical Properties, Seniors Housing & Care, and Behavioral Health verticals, Blueprint identified a growing behavioral health owner/operator as the optimal buyer, resulting in a seamless closing only 34 days after execution of the purchase and sale agreement.
Moving forward, the buyer plans to offer complimentary inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services alongside existing operations, representing a win not only for the buyer and seller, but also for the underserved Texas Panhandle region.
