Ramona Mitchell joined Blueprint in July of 2025 as Chief Underwriter - HUD, where she leads the development and operations of the firm’s HUD lending platform, with a strategic focus on the seniors housing sector. With over 27 years of experience in underwriting and closing HUD-insured mortgages, Ramona brings a wealth of expertise gained from working with industry leaders such as Gershman Investment Corp., Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, and Midcap Financial Housing Capital, Inc. She is positioned to leverage Blueprint’s transaction pipeline to grow and strengthen its HUD lending capabilities.

Ramona is an approved underwriter under HUD’s MAP and LEAN programs. Over the past 15 years, she has specialized in healthcare financing, successfully underwriting and closing more than $530 million in transactions, including refinances, acquisitions, and new construction.
