Blueprint was engaged by an institutional client to sell an 8-acre plot of land poised for new development off a major thoroughfare in Panama City, Florida. Previously, the land encompassed an approximately 70,000-square foot medical outpatient building that was destroyed beyond repair in 2018 by Hurricane Michael and ultimately razed.
Having extensive experience with post-acute assets, Blueprint recognized the land’s size and zoning represented a prime IRF development opportunity. After receiving multiple qualified bids, Ryan Companies US, Inc. was selected as the buyer, and will construct a new 40,000-square foot, 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital to be operated in partnership with Exalt Health, a rapidly growing post-acute care provider in the Florida market.
