At the time of marketing, the community was 90% occupied and cash-flowing. Blueprint marketed the opportunity by promoting the upside of the strong performance trends and implementing minor expense efficiencies through regional operations.

Following a targeted but comprehensive marketing process, Blueprint procured five offers from private equity groups, real estate investment firms, and regional owner/operator groups.

Ultimately, a Minnesota-based private equity firm previously focused on development purchased Gurnee Place Memory Care in July 2024.
