The CCRC was previously owned and operated by a large non-profit organization with over 20 senior living and care communities.

Blueprint positioned the deal as a rare opportunity to operate a senior care campus with an excellent reputation and a 40-year history in the Tempe market and targeted a limited list of active operators.

This is Ensign’s first acquisition since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bandera Healthcare LLC, Ensign’s Arizona-based subsidiary, will take over management of the campus.

Blueprint worked diligently with all parties involved to ensure the transition, which ultimately led to a transaction closed in just 150 days from LOI, even with confirmed COVID-19 cases at the community.
