In the Land of Enchantment

Sale of two New Mexico skilled nursing facilities totaling 175 beds/units and located in Aztec and Lovington
Blueprint handled the transaction on behalf of the seller, Sioux Falls, South Dakota-based The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, a non-profit owner-operator for which the assets represented a non-core disposition
The portfolio consisted of 150 skilled nursing beds and 25 independent and assisted living units. The facilities were well maintained, and one had recently undergone a major renovation. With the renovations in place, the seller selected Blueprint to run the sale process.

To overcome the challenge of the facilities being in rural areas and on opposite sides of the state, Blueprint utilized its robust industry relationships with a highly-targeted approach. Blueprint leveraged a previous transaction with the buyer, a Southern California-based private investor interested in expanding in New Mexico.

Blueprint worked diligently with the seller and buyer as well as the attorneys for each party throughout the process. This allowed the team to address and resolve all transaction-related issues head-on and led to a successful close.
